Location: Cooplands Building, Fitzalan Square, Sheffield
How might the High Street of the future affect local communities and the way we shop?
In the future as technology emerges, it may be that no one talks to each other and everyone is hooked to their devices. I have designed a hairdressing space that increases human interaction.
I imagined how the HIGH STREET of the future might look like. Urban Utopia looking to have more open spaces surrounded by nature.
URBAN UTOPIA
As part of my research, I interviewed my childhood hairdresser who is based in Kenya. Here are my research findings on the pros and cons of her work and current space and services that she would like to offer in the future.
